It features the following digital electronic sounds: diesel engine, electric drive motors, signal horn and whistle (before departure at level crossings), conductor's announcement (with MZS), braking sounds, applying and releasing brakes, idle sounds (in MZS operation at standstill, idle, and pressure relief valve), remote control of sound functions (with MZS system), magnet-controlled activation of whistle and signal horn (magnet not included).
