Model builders no longer need to make compromises and can rely on this acrylic paint system for all their color needs.

The advantages of this paint system: Revell Aqua Color paints come in completely new 18 ml containers that are ideal for processing. The paints can be thinned with water, are low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed with each other. After 2 to 3 hours, the paint is fully dry, and repainting is possible after just one hour, making it six times faster than with enamel colors. The new colors can be easily painted over with existing enamel colors (14 ml) after drying, but they should not be mixed together.

The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be thinned too much, with a maximum dilution of 20 to 25% with water. Ideally, the paint should be thinned with Aqua Color Mix, as it also acts as a drying retardant and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. The spray gun should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already begun to dry, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean.

For brush application: The paints are brushable and feature high opacity. They create smooth surfaces after brushing, almost as good as airbrushing. The end result is absolutely comparable to enamel colors and offers exceptional results when brushed.
