Product details
The electric locomotive 11131 (Re 4/4 II) of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) is presented in a condition appropriate to the IV era, in its original fir green color. Built in 1967 and originating from the halls of SLM / BBC, this electric locomotive operated until a major R3 overhaul in its original livery, before it, like many other locomotives of this type, was painted red. The locomotives of the first series (11107–11155) feature only one pantograph, similar to the prototypes, but they are 10 cm longer than the prototypes. The Re 4/4 II is the largest series of rolling stock in Switzerland, with 277 delivered locomotives. The Re 4/4 II was built and put into service over a span of 21 years, from 1964 to 1985. The 11131 has since been decommissioned and scrapped.
