Product details
Digital operation in Motorola II format: maximum of 255 addresses, 14 or 27 speed steps, functions F0 to F8 (F5 to F8 via second address). Programming: Register. Digital operation in DCC format: 127 basic addresses or 10,239 extended addresses, 14, 28, or 128 speed steps, functions F0 to F28. Programming: Configuration variables (Direct Programming on the programming track, DCC-compliant) or POM (Programming on Main).
Analog operation: analog systems with DC or AC power transformers, automatic analog detection, switchable. Adaptation to various motor types and locomotive types: adjustment of load regulation parameters (KP, KI, KD), gain factor. Definition of a linear (possibly kinked) speed characteristic curve by setting the starting, mid, and maximum speeds. In 27/28 speed step mode: individual assignment of a motor voltage to each speed step.
Starting kick, shunting mode: reduction of the speed of all speed steps by approximately 50%. Switching to shunting mode with a function key. Starting and braking delay: adjustable separately. On and off with a function key. Automated processes: automatic braking when an asymmetric track voltage is present (ABC method), pendulum automation (via ABC method), braking with direct current (Märklin braking section), speed-dependent on and off.
Application examples: turning on and off the headlights or cab lighting. Shunting function by assigning the shunting mode and shunting light to the same function key, automatic uncoupling, constant braking distance. Turning outputs on and off via the switching inputs. Automatic registration via DCC-A. Function outputs: assignment of functions to the outputs with Function Mapping according to RCN-227. Each function (F0 to F28, separately for forward and reverse operation) can be assigned one or more outputs.
