The UMS star engine with 35 cc and 7 cylinders is a high-quality glow plug model engine for RC aircraft with high demands. The manufacturer UMS offers a unique range of star engines. UMS has developed a series of five gasoline engines and three glow plug engines to cover the entire spectrum of required types. Particularly, the small-displacement engines allow for the faithful motorization of comparatively smaller scale models, especially warbirds. The gasoline engines feature an electronic ignition system powered by a LiPo battery, using a gasoline/oil mixture as fuel. The glow plug engines are pre-heated with an external battery, and commercially available model fuel based on methanol is used as fuel. All engines are delivered with a silencer included.
