The strawberry basket is back! In dark green, Karmann's open-air Golf appears in 1:87 scale. The Golf I Cabriolet seamlessly followed the aging open Beetle – today, both models are automotive legends of post-war West Germany. After all, the first VW Golf in its open version was already able to impress with its smooth ride and enhanced safety. The VW Golf I Cabriolet, which was produced from 1979 to 1992, was the first to feature a roll bar, earning it the affectionate nickname "strawberry basket" due to its visual appearance. The body is dark green, the chassis is black with bumpers and an interior in ivory beige. The convertible top is green, and the 5-spoke wheels are finished in aluminum silver. The grille features a silver VW logo, and there is a black print on the B-pillar on the glazing. At the rear, there are carmine red taillights, a silver VW logo, the inscriptions "Volkswagen" and "Golf," as well as a trunk lock. The front headlights are hand-painted.
