Test Report

20 height-adjustable seat posts from 160 to 862 euros in a practical test

The test shows: There are no really bad props. But the differences in detail are considerable. In the end, eight models stand out in particular and deserve an award. The combination of height adjustment and suspension is best implemented by.schulz. Fox offers lightweight construction at its best. High-tech electronics at a still reasonable price come from Magura. And those who prefer a classic lever under the saddle will find the right post in XLC. In terms of value for money, Crank Brothers (internal control) and Procraft (external control) stand out. In the end, BikeYoke (internal control) and Vecnum (external control) are the winners of the test.
