Lenovo's new true wireless earbuds

Hardware manufacturer Lenovo has introduced new headphones: the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds. They’re affordable and seem to be good, too.
In addition to tablets, laptops and monitors, Lenovo has recently introduced new earbuds. They’re called Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds – not the most creative names in the history of earphones. However, the earbuds are impressive: For an advertised price of 100 euros, the earbuds offer a good battery life on paper, are water-resistant and feature Multipoint, which means multiple devices can be paired at the same time.
The specifications of the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds
Here’s an overview of the most important specs:
- Active Noise Cancelling – noise reduction of up to 38 decibels
- In-ear earbuds
- Multipoint (can be paired with another device at the same time)
- Total battery life of 28 hours, one charge with activated noise cancelling 4.5 hours
- Weight: 4.5 gram per earbud
- 6 microphones
- 11 mm driver
- IPX4 certified (splash proof)
- Touch control on the handset
- Bluetooth 5.2
- USB-C port
The earphones sport a simple design and are available in black and white. Are there other earbuds with similar specs and in the same price range? Yes, for example the Jabra Elite 3, which also has Multipoint. That’s rare for this low price range of earphones and a feature that even more expensive headphones such as the Sony WF-1000XM4 don’t have.
The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds will be available from the end of October 2021.
