These are the table lamp trends for 2025
Can you ever have too many table lamps? Probably yes. But does that stop me from showing you the coolest models of the season? Of course not.
Table lamps are real all-rounders: they set the mood and add the finishing touch to your room. And right now, the focus is on these trends that are anything but short-lived.
1. chrome: glamour that stands out
Luminaires with a chrome look have been particularly popular since last year - and for good reason. Not only do they bring a modern, minimalist touch to the home, but they also reflect the light in such a way that the room appears lively. The shiny surfaces go with almost anything: wood, fabric or coloured accents. A chrome lamp is more than just a brief hype.

2. mushroom shapes: A design classic remains modern
Mushroom lamps are still a must-have in 2025. Their round shapes and characteristic shade provide soft, indirect light - perfect for cosy evenings. With their organic look, they immediately create a warm atmosphere. Whether made of glass, metal or in colour-coordinated combinations - the versatile versions fit into almost any interior. They look like small sculptures that remain an eye-catcher even when switched off.

3. no cable clutter
Wireless table lamps are the epitome of freedom (except for regular charging) - and that's exactly what makes them so popular. They don't need a socket and create cosy spotlights or illuminate paths. Many models come with clever details such as handles or dimmable light colours. So they adapt to any mood.

4. soft shades
Table lamps with fabric shades are currently experiencing a revival. Perhaps because they combine soft textiles with natural aesthetics, creating a cosy atmosphere. It becomes visually interesting when the textile shades are combined with materials such as wood or stone. The contrast between fabric fibres and cool base surfaces makes them eye-catching. Another plus point: many designs hide the technology completely apart from the cables, so that the light almost looks like a decorative object.

5. sculptural forms
Some table lamps look like sculptures and make lighting almost a minor matter. Organic shapes and curved lines are reminiscent of donuts, mushrooms or futuristic objects and make a statement. They define the surroundings, attract attention and look like works of art - and yet they fulfil their purpose.
