KVM switch (or docking station?) for connection between work laptop and tower at home

Dear All I have a gaming tower at my workstation at home. All peripherals (mouse, keyboard, speakers, monitor) are connected directly to the tower (mouse and keyboard via a USB port, speakers via a 3.5mm jack plug, monitor via an HDMI cable). The tower is fairly new and has USB-C ports in addition to a USB-A port. I occasionally work from home and have to take my work laptop home with me. Our company doesn't offer a remote office solution, which means I have to work from the work laptop at home. This means that I have to crawl under the table every time, unplug all the peripheral cables from the tower and connect them to the laptop. Is there any product that allows me to connect the laptop (like a docking station) to a switch using a USB-C cable (or similar) and then simply switch between the tower and the work laptop? Thank you very much for your feedback and I can provide more information if needed! LG Kerem

Docking station and kvmswitch for laptop and PC

Hello everyone. I have the following problem. I have 2 monitors at home (both Dsp) which are connected to my desktop. Now I need to connect my laptop (usb-c) to the monitors for the home office, preferably with a mouse, keyboard and headset as well. I have done some searching but have not found the product that can solve these problems. Maybe someone of you knows which products I need.

    USB Switch: Automatic switching

Hy Comm, I have a notebook and a PC and would like to avoid always having to reconnect the USB devices. I am looking for a USB switch (actually only) which switches automatically when it detects a signal (PC or notebook). Do you know of a product that can do exactly that? I keep coming across complete KVM switches :( Greetings and thanks

Gaming - USB hub or docking station? And which product?

Dear Community Here is my request: Initial situation I recently bought a Legion gaming laptop with good components (i7 with 12 cores and 3.5 GHz per core, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3070 Ti, 300W power supply). With this I wanted to replace my previous gaming PC (older than 5 years) and my everyday laptop for home (an old Lenovo laptop, also older than 5 years). To do this, I treated myself to a docking station from Lenovo (ThinkPad Thunderbolt 4 Workstation Dock - Switzerland). Unfortunately, the docking station did not charge my laptop in the Thunderbolt slot and in other USB-C slots it had too little power (charged the laptop for that...). My work laptop from Lenovo didn't work with it either (no USB slot was running). The support simply said that the two devices are not officially supported by the docking station and thus their support ends. So I decided to return the docking station. Question(s) I need to be able to connect 4 USB slots (keyboard, mouse, headphone receiver and charging cable). What do I do now? --> Is there a worthy docking station that would be guaranteed to work with my laptop (at Lenovo, no docking station officially supports my Legion laptop)? --> Should I rather switch to a USB hub? --> Which product can be recommended, docking station or USB hub? Thank you very much and Greetings to all of you

HDMI Splitter for HDCP with 4K

Hi, I would like to have an HDMI splitter that can handle HDCP. I have here: https://www.digitec.ch/de... or on https://www.hdmi-splitter.info that it is possible for 1080p. Can anyone recommend a current! splitter with which this is feasible for 4K. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the Ligawo one works, I've found contradictory statements about it. Is it possible at all? Greetings

1 PC 2 monitors + TV which switch?

Dear Digitec Community I'm sure someone here can help me. I have a PC with 2 monitors at home. Now I would like to connect my TV to it so that I can switch between the monitors and the TV. I can't figure out what kind of switch I need for this. That way I would have the two monitors for work and if I want I can switch to the TV as output for gaming. The monitors are connected with a display port. The TV only has HDMI. Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend everyone.

USB-C to HDMI or HDMI to USB-C Hub?

Hello, I am currently testing the transfer of games from mobile to TV. I had a cheap USB-C to HDMI cable of about 2 metres lying around, with which I have a strong delay between controller input and image, which is very annoying for online gaming. Now I want to buy a better solution with the smallest possible video lag. It's not because of the Bluetooth connection to the controller, as there is no delay on the mobile itself. The first option would be a "better" USB-C to HDMI cable, but I don't know what to look for. Transfer rate, Hz, resolution? The second option would be an HDMI to HDMI cable, which I plug into a USB-C hub and the hub into the mobile. Can a better connection be achieved by using an HDMI to HDMI cable instead of a direct HDMI to USB-C cable or does the hub/dongle throttle this gain again?

    SEARCH: Dual Type-C PD HUB

Hi, as mentioned in the title, I am looking for a Dual Type-C PD Hub. In other words, a hub to connect via USB-C (Thunderbolt interface) to the Macbook Pro and at the other end with TWO Type-C PD (power delivery). So actually a "splitter" for USB C with power function. do you have an idea WHERE and WHERE something like this is available?
