The Alphacool ES Big Inline Particle Filter removes dirt particles that can contaminate your pump or other components, helping to prevent potential damage. It is equipped with two G1/2 connections (In/Out) but can be converted to 2x G1/4 threads using an adapter.

Once you take a look at the transparent acrylic glass cylinder, you can assess the level of contamination. After all, this is where all the deposits that your water cooling component needs to be protected from accumulate. Maintenance is straightforward, as a ball valve can be installed before the IN or after the OUT connection for draining.

Keep in mind that due to the large surface area of the mesh filter, the flow rate within the particle filter decreases. This allows contaminants to settle. Of course, it will not negatively affect the overall flow of the cooling circuit.
