Product details

The Blackstar St. James 50/6L6 112 Combo Black is a combination of a tube amplifier with a vintage appearance and modern user-friendliness. This particularly lightweight amplifier weighs only 11 kilograms and delivers 50 watts of volume. Additionally, this combo is easy to lift and transport.

The first channel has the character of an American amplifier from the 60s, featuring a beautiful clean tone and a tight bass response. Channel 2 sounds more like a modern amplifier with a raw crunch sound for rhythm playing, enough gain for blues, and a boost for your solos with a footswitch.

This amplifier operates in three modes. The standard mode provides 50 watts, the second mode offers 5 watts for lower volumes, and the last is the SAG mode. This mode gives the amplifier a vintage feel and plays wonderfully. There is also an inductive load, allowing you to easily play through a PC, audio interface, or headphones.

This is not often seen in tube amplifiers! It can be used to switch between the two channels on the amplifier or to engage the boost on channel 2. Channel 2 also has its own gain and volume controls. A great addition is the universal power supply, which allows you to connect the amplifier to a power grid of 90 to 264 volts at 50 to 60 Hz.

Blackstar St. James 50/6L6 112 Combo Black Amplifier: Tube output power: 50 W, number of channels: 2 (footswitch), switchable channel 1 and 2 (footswitch), switchable boost on channel 2, attenuation, power supply.
