The Air Series AF fan models deliver the best performance in unrestricted areas with at least 3 cm of clearance and are excellent for mounting at the rear or top of your PC case as exhaust fans for the motherboard and CPU, graphics accelerators, and other components that heat up your case. They also perform well in areas such as side panels or bottom air intakes as unrestricted intake fans.

For highly restricted areas like hard drive cages or other tight spaces with less air volume, we recommend our Air Series SP models for fans with high static pressure.
