The B·Hype series aims to provide a professional yet efficient sound performance for all types of users by combining a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with aggressive sound pressure levels (up to 126.5 dB for the 15” enclosure) while delivering the most accurate sound reproduction.

The new B·Hype 15 is a versatile active speaker. It features a 1” neodymium compression driver (1” voice coil) and a 15” woofer (2” voice coil). The radiation pattern is asymmetrical on the vertical axis and diversified (top and bottom) on the horizontal. This allows for narrower and more efficient sound coverage as well as better performance in reverberant environments. The combo input (with source type selection) enables easy and versatile use, suitable for both dynamic microphones and standard line inputs. Users can adjust the lower and upper frequencies using the convenient DSP preset function. A symmetrical link output allows for audio connection to a second speaker.

The lightweight enclosures (ranging from 6 to 17 kg) feature a clean and contemporary full grille design that enhances both portability (three handles - one on the side and one on the top) and multifunctionality: each enclosure can be used horizontally as a stage monitor (on both sides) and has a stand mount for use on stands or for stacking on dBTechnologies subwoofers.
