The passive Monitor Router PMR 2.10 is a modern switching device that can connect up to 10 pairs of studio monitors. This router finds a wide range of applications among professional resellers who need to demonstrate their products expertly, as well as in large studios that use multiple monitors to thoroughly check their mixes and ensure translation to other systems.

Two symmetrical inputs, indicated by a green LED, and ten outputs, all located on the back of the device, allow for convenient switching between speakers. To fit within a 19" rack unit, 6.3 mm symmetrical jacks are used.

The switching is fully symmetrical and occurs solely through high-quality encapsulated relays without any additional electronics in the signal path – all inputs and outputs are also designed symmetrically to ensure the best possible signal fidelity and consistency.

Switching between outputs is done via a wired remote control. A large, robust rotary switch enables quick switching between outputs. An orange LED indicates the selected output on the PMR 2.10. The desired input is selected directly on the PMR 2.10.

Included in the package is a 10 cm high seven-segment display that connects to the PMR 2.10 via a cable. Positioned in a visible location, it accurately shows the listener which pair of speakers they are currently hearing. The brightness of the display can be adjusted in two levels to suit darker environments comfortably.
