The Heil PR 30 is a dynamic vocal and instrument microphone. This version comes in black. The microphone is a so-called end-fire model, meaning that sound is captured at the top of the microphone. The strong NDFEB magnet structure provides the microphone with a supercardioid pattern, offering exceptional off-axis rejection and the ability to handle high SPLs with a wide dynamic range. The housing significantly reduces the effects of handling noise.

The end-fire model offers a smooth response with a wide frequency range of 40 Hz to 18 kHz. Maximum SPL: 146 dB. Rear rejection at 180 degrees from the axis: -40 dB. It has a very nice and natural midrange, making it ideal for vocals and broadcasts. It also works excellently as a guitar amplifier microphone.
