Many newer laptops do not have an Ethernet port, so users can only access the internet via a Wi-Fi connection. The UA3000E USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter and 3-port hub enables a wired connection with high data transfer rates in case wireless access is not possible or the internal network card is defective. The USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter simply plugs into an available port on the laptop and supports 10/100/1000 Base-T. Additionally, the adapter offers three USB 3.0 ports for easy connection of additional devices. The adapter is compatible with systems running Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista/XP as well as Mac OS X 10.6 or higher.
