Product details
IP extenders enable a reliable extension of HDMI signal range over an IP network connection. They allow for point-to-point connections or mixed configurations when used in combination with network switches. Utilizing existing IP infrastructure provides a cost-effective solution for scalable extender options. The HDMI & IR IP extender offers an economical way to extend signal ranges over the distances of an existing local network. The HDMI & IR IP receiver serves as a complementary solution for existing Lindy HDMI & IR IP extender systems, which can be expanded into scalable AV signal distribution solutions by using multiple receiver units in conjunction with network switches. When used as a point-to-point connection, the extender system bridges distances of up to 150 meters over a Cat.6 cable. In combination with a network switch, even greater distances can be overcome, up to 3 network segments. In such a scenario, adding more receivers allows for very flexible setups to display AV content on screens at multiple remote locations simultaneously. Ideal for the diverse applications in the retail sector, connected offices, or installations in training or educational environments. With support for Full HD up to 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8Bit, the extender transmits high-resolution AV content in high quality, suitable for digital signage displays as eye-catchers, for powerful installations in home environments, or for AV signal distribution in the hospitality industry. The integrated IR support gives the user the ability to control the connected source device using its IR remote control. Please note: For larger installations, use a dedicated network.
