Information on memory configurationOur memory team will be happy to assist you in choosing the right memory and configuring your server.The following technical conditions should be taken into account in advance:- Each CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel. 2 memories are used per memory channel.- You can use RDIMM main memory or LRDIMM main memory. LRDIMM memories are recommended especially when large memory capacities are to be achieved.- Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. When upgrading, you should therefore know which memories are already available or upgrade completely to RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.- Memory slots for which no processor is available must not be populated- Higher memory frequencies may adapt to other memory clocks in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
