Polylactic acid is a polymer that consists, among other things, of lactic acid molecules. Currently, we offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. A heated bed is advantageous for PLA filament, but not strictly necessary. We recommend using a cooling fan when processing PLA filament. Additionally, PLA has significantly more pleasant odor properties compared to other plastics.
