Then it should run with the 3000. However, I would advise you to download the latest version when you start using it. These boards do not have the latest version installed. The latest version is the 3003.

Hello, I personally use the "be quiet! Pure Rock 2" fan and I'm very happy with it. It seems to me that it already has a thermal pad applied. But otherwise I use the "Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut" paste which has never failed me. PS: After that it depends on the type of case, you have to make sure that the ventirad fits well inside, they're quite massive.

What do you mean, your motherboard is reaching its limit? It may well be that the chipset is a limiting factor, but that rarely happens. How do you determine this limit? How does this limit manifest itself?

Did you simply set the frequency to 3000MHz by hand and did not make any other settings? If so, this is the wrong procedure or too simplistic. The simplest possibility is to use the XMP profile stored in the RAM, which makes all the necessary adjustments with which operation could be possible. https://www.crucial.de/support... The desired XMP profile is activated in the BIOS. With ASUS, this also runs under D.O.C.P. https://www.asus.com/de...

Hello, actually not, because the processor is supported since version 2301. If your version is older, you have to update. First check the bios for your version, if it is older then yes. You can then download the bios here https://rog.asus.com/de.... Then save the version on a Fat 32 stick, it is important to unpack the file in an empty folder beforehand and then save the unpacked file on the stick. Then connect the stick to the USB port, then click on Flash 3 Utility in the Tools menu in the Bios. There you can decide whether you want to flash directly from the Asus site or from the stick you have just created. No matter how you decide, please do not do anything else on the computer after the OK until the message appears that the process is complete. You only have to do all this if your version is older than version 2301, as described above. mfg Norbert Fischer

Hello Jenahan, in most cases the new mainboards delivered already have the new BIOS installed, while the old stock items still need an update, of course. Only Digitec can answer this 100%, but in my opinion Digitec does not sell old stock. If necessary, you could ask AMD for a loan CPU, but that would be rather tedious. Greetings Dave
