Unfortunately, we and all other suppliers have not received any. Nvidia itself has already announced before the start of sales that there will not be enough to fulfil all requests. We are in close contact with our distributors and manufacturers to inform you about changes and new deliveries as soon as possible. We thank you for your understanding and patience. Your trust and support mean a lot to us and we look forward to offering you the latest and greatest products soon.

According to ChatGPT: The differences between the various ASUS graphics card models, such as the ASUS PRIME RTX 5080 OC, the TUF and the Astral, lie mainly in the target groups, the cooling technology, the durability and the features they offer. 1. ASUS PRIME RTX 5080 OC: Target audience: these cards are mostly aimed at users looking for solid performance but not necessarily aiming for extreme overclocking. Design: Simple and functional, often with a focus on stable performance and efficient cooling. Features: They offer basic functions such as a stable overclocking mode (OC), but less extensive additional features compared to TUF or Astral. 2. ASUS TUF RTX 5080: Target group: gamers and power users looking for a robust, durable product. Design: TUF models are often somewhat more massive, offering greater durability and robustness through reinforced construction and additional cooling. Features: Stronger cooling systems, better power supply and often a slightly higher overclocking capability. These cards often have a military, robust design and are known for their high durability and performance under load. 3 ASUS Astral RTX 5080: Target group: Premium users and enthusiasts looking for the highest performance, exclusive design and maximum cooling performance. Design: The Astral design is usually very futuristic and exclusive. These cards often have the most attractive appearance and particularly innovative cooling technologies. Features: The Astral model might come with special features such as better cooling, higher clock speeds and advanced overclocking features. Sometimes there is also special LED lighting and unique materials. Conclusion: PRIME is for users looking for a solid and reliable card. TUF offers robustness and performance for demanding gamers. Astral is aimed at enthusiasts who want the best performance and the most eye-catching design. So it depends a lot on your specific needs which model suits you best

The department responsible is currently working hard to make as many of these new GPUs as possible available to our customers, but we're sorry to say that timescales and quantities are uncertain.

Unfortunately, our supplier had a stock problem, which led to the cancellation of many orders (if you had placed an order yourself, you would normally have been informed of this by e-mail). We are very sorry about this. The 5080 currently available is a Marketplace offer from third party reseller Orderflow. We hope to be able to sell this GPU ourselves at our own prices but have no idea when we might be able to get it.

Unfortunately not yet. As expected, replenishment is very slow and as soon as we can confirm a new delivery, the item will be reactivated in the shop.

With high-end graphics cards, very high currents flow through the coils of the voltage converters. This results in microscopically small vibrations, which can become noticeable as an audible noise. This coil whine is not a defect, but a normal physical behaviour of the components under high load. Board partners try to reduce this with a few design tricks, but this phenomenon cannot be completely avoided as it is a fundamental effect of the high electromagnetic load and can occur to varying degrees depending on the card and system.

Yes, there is a BIOS update for the ROG ASTRAL RTX 5080 on the ASUS website that increases the power consumption to 450W. This update raises the power limit by 50 W compared to the standard value and thus enables potentially higher clock rates and better performance in demanding applications.

So I wouldn't take a 5090 just because of the fire factor. A 5080 is sufficient for 4K gaming at the highest settings and also in VR at 120-240Hz. If you want more, the only option is a 5090 with a high fire risk. I haven't been able to fill up the 16GB in any game so far.

The product is offered by a third-party retailer via our platform, which is why we have no influence on their pricing.
