Hello, On picture 3 you can see better what it is: A USB extension so that you don't have to connect the wifi stick directly to a USB port, as the stick is quite big. This is not necessary in any case, but it helps anyway. Short do-gooder on the side: however, this is not a modem.

The stick has an RTL8812AU chipset. For this chipset, there are now drivers from the community that supposedly provide PI support.
I don't see why. They already have wifi...
