The difference in bandwidth between ASUS and Gigabyte graphics cards is probably due to the way in which bandwidth is calculated or specified by each manufacturer. The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4060 Ti card has a memory speed of 18 Gbps on a 128-bit interface, giving a bandwidth of 288 Gbps (18 Gbps * 128 bits / 8 bits per byte). It is possible that Gigabyte is using another method to display the bandwidth or that there is an error in the specification. To clarify, it would be useful to check each manufacturer's official technical specifications.

On the graphics plate there is a small button that switches the bios to performance or silent mode. In performance mode the cooling fans run faster to cool the card as much as possible, while in silent mode the fans only start up at high load levels.

I guess it depends on what games you play? Do you need games with DLSS support or FSSR? Overall, the RTX4060ti is newer and uses less power, gets less warm, but is limited to 8Gb of memory. Personally, I would tend towards the RTX 4060ti, or an RTX4070s if you have a higher budget.

The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti EVO OC (8 GB) is not as good as a normal RTX 4060 in several important aspects: ## Key Differences - Performance: The RTX 4060 Ti has about 27% better performance in the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark and a 46% higher maximum theoretical performance (22.1 vs 15.1 TFLOPS) compared to the RTX 4060. - Shading Units: The RTX 4060 Ti has 4352 shading units, while the RTX 4060 only has 3072 shading units. - Tensor Cores and Ray Tracing Cores: The RTX 4060 Ti has 136 Tensor Cores and 34 Ray Tracing Cores, compared to the 96 Tensor Cores and 24 Ray Tracing Cores of the RTX 4060. - Boost Clock: The RTX 4060 Ti has a higher boost clock of 2535 MHz compared to the 2460 MHz of the RTX 4060. ## Summary The RTX 4060 Ti offers significantly better performance and resources compared to the RTX 4060, making it better suited for more demanding gaming and workstation applications. The number of fans (three fans on the RTX 4060) is only one aspect of cooling and does not directly affect the performance of the GPU.

Yes, there are some performance differences between the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti EVO OC and a standard NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti: ## Boost Clock - The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti EVO OC has a boost clock of 2595 MHz in OC mode and 2565 MHz in default mode, while the standard RTX 4060 Ti has a boost clock of 2535 MHz. ## Shading units and tensor cores - The RTX 4060 Ti EVO OC has 4352 shading units and 136 tensor cores, which offers higher performance compared to the standard RTX 4060 Ti with 4352 shading units and 136 tensor cores, but this is not the difference here. The real difference lies in the transferability of these specifications to the specific ASUS card, which is optimised by the overclocking and specific cooling solution. ## Overclocking and cooling solution - The ASUS card benefits from an efficient cooling solution with Axial-tech Fan Design and 0dB Technology, which enables quieter and cooler operation and supports overclocking. This can lead to better performance in demanding gaming scenarios. ## General performance - In benchmarks, the RTX 4060 Ti EVO OC shows up to 27% better performance in 3DMark Time Spy and higher FPS in various gaming benchmarks compared to the RTX 4060, which is due to the overclocking and specific optimisations of the ASUS card. These differences make the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti EVO OC more powerful and better suited for demanding gaming applications.
