Beyerdynamic DT 990Pro
No noise cancelling, Cable
I own the DT 990 pro and I use it with the FiiO Dac E10 amp which sounds really good and I don't know any better price! You can also find it on Digitec.
No, they don't have. ):
The headphones are very comfortable and have a natural sound (no strong bass). Since it does not shield the ambient noise very much, you can still hear your surroundings. The cable is a spiral cable, at 2-3 metres I recommend an extension of the cable.... LG
Good day. I bought the combi and have no problem that the other competitors can hear me. Everything works tip top, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Greetings
1. no. The cable is fixed. 2. the headphones weigh approx. 364 g with cable. Without cable 271 g. However, you do not wear the cable on your head.

The 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones can be used with the sound card of your ROG Strix 490 F, but there are a few points to consider: - Most laptops and PCs can power 250 ohm headphones, although the audio output power may vary depending on the computer model. In general, tests have shown that many laptops and PCs can provide sufficient volume for these headphones, although you may have to adjust the volume to 60-75% to get a comfortable listening level. - It is not mandatory to buy a dedicated sound card, but it might be useful if you want more power and better sound quality. An external sound card might offer better dynamics and sound fidelity, especially if you work with high-quality audio. - The 80 ohm DT 770 Pro headphones require less power to reach the same volume level, so they might be easier for your integrated sound card to handle. However, if you prefer the sound and features of the DT 990 Pro, there is no need to switch to the DT 770 Pro for that reason alone. In summary, the 250 ohm DT 990 Pro can work with your integrated sound card, but a dedicated sound card could improve the sound quality and power.
Automatically generated from the .It's not normal. I bought the 250-ohm version and it also says 250 ohms on both earcups.
Hola! Both and . Standard is 3.5 jack but an adapter is also included LG
Hey, you can hear the surroundings quite well.
I ordered and received the DT 990Pro here at Digitec in April 23 and the Y sign is visible. So I guess that's still the case.
I have the same, it works perfect, just put gain to High and it will work like a charm.
The headphones with 250 ohms are quite hungry and need proper hardware to be operated reasonably. According to gamepro.de, 80 ohms is the maximum that the controller can handle.
These headphones are less suitable for the Playstation because of the high number of ohms, as the sound is reproduced very quietly. The headphones can also only reproduce stereo and not surround, which can be important for some games. However, you can amplify the sound with a headphone preamplifier so that the volume is high enough. This would be an example: FiiO New K3 (Gain switch, Bass Boost, USB-DAC)
Yes, it's the 250, I just saw it in the specification. Sorry, I missed it the at the first reading. All good then. What you guys think about my choices in amps tho? Thank you.
Is it loud enough for you or for your environment? Joking aside: If the audio output has a jack socket, you can connect the DT 990Pro. However, since they are open headphones, you will hear ambient noise. If you are in a noisy environment, I think a closed headphone would be a better choice. PS: Regarding sound quality: I don't use them for gaming, but for music production, and the sound quality is great. They are also very comfortable to wear because they are very light.
If you have a mini-jack headphone socket, you're good to go!
If you use the headphones for gaming on the PC, I would recommend the Creative Sound BlasterX G6 (USB)... I also use them and they can even run at 600Ohm.
Hi Lebi, for a lot of bass I would recommend the 770pro, because it is closed. For producing music, it depends on the step you want to use it in. For recording I would also take the 770pro, but for the tuning of the music the 990pro is super suitable. Take a look at some videos on YouTube, there are some good ones on this topic.
Honestly, if you want the DT990 250ohm, then invest in a headphone amp. I myself had a DT990 connected to a Marketing Bla Bla "300ohm" external soundcard from Creative. Only when I bought the Fiio K5 Pro was the volume loud enough for me. Without proper KV's that provide enough juice, the DT990 simply sound too weak and quiet. Believe me, it's absolutely worth saving a little for an amp. My way was Superlux 681EVO>DT 990>DT 1990 PRO, as amp I use the perfect Fiio K5 Pro and the DT 1990 got a Dekoni Audio Elite Velour Ear Pad. Happy asf and absolutely worth it.😍
This depends on the sound card or its headphone amplifier and, of course, on personal perception of when loud is loud enough. The lower the impedance, the less juice the sound card has to use to achieve the same volume. For me, these headphones are loud enough on a smartphone at full volume. A PC usually has more juice than a smartphone. So, yes, you get enough volume out, unlike the 600 ohm model in some circumstances. I have a professional sound card, so 600 ohms is no problem.
Hello, from what I could find on the manual on the european website, the answer is yes look at the downloads section and you have the specifications: Technical specifications Type of transducer ... ... ... . Dynamic Working principle . . . . . . . . . . Open Bandwidth . . . . . . . . . . . 5 - 35,000 Hz Nominal impedance ... ... ... . 250 Ω per system Nominal sound pressure level ... . . . 96 dB Harmonic distortion . . . . . . < 0,2% 100 mW Coupling to the ear . . . . . . . . . Circumaural Headband pressure . 3,5 N Weight without cable ... ... ... ... . 270 g 3 m / twisted cable Connector ... ... ... ... ... . . 3.5 mm gold-plated jack and 6.35 mm adapter I hope this answers your questions. It is a product that I recommend
Yes, that works.
The closed one is also great. It just has a slightly different sound, is less "airy", has more bass and is well insulated from the outside, whereas with the open one you can hear everything from the outside. Headphone amplifier: for on the road or at home? If you want to connect anything else (instruments? Line in?), the Focusrite Scarlett are absolutely recommendable: https://www.digitec.ch/de/search?q=focusrite%20scarlet.
Coiled cable (twisted, coiled, spiralled), see data sheet.
If you want to hear yourself live on the headphones through the microphone (monitoring), a closed headphone is appropriate. With the DT990Pro, not only do you risk feedback, but the microphone will also pick up sound from the headphones. When using a microphone and headphones, closed headphones are always preferable. Connecting them is not a problem as long as there is a jack headphone output and the sound card is active. The sound chip itself is quite irrelevant. Much more important are the microphone preamplifier and the amplifier for the headphone output.
32 will definitely work. 250 might be questionable in terms of volume/quality. my suggestion would be to get a good sound card at the same time, then you can make sure that 250ohm is supported, and it sounds a lot better than on-board sound. This will also help you get the most out of the DT990. If you also want to use the headphones with a smartphone or something, only the 32 will really work.
