Unfortunately I don't have the exact distance, but if the manufacturer mentions 32" it means that the space can accept 2 screens of 32" maximum. If you want to put your laptop between the two screens, I unfortunately doubt that there is enough room.
According to the supplier: "The monitor arm works with tables up to 7cm."
Here is what the brand says: This stand can support two monitors from 13 to 32 inches in VESA standards 75x75 and 100x100 up to 8 kg per monitor (16 kg in total). Unfortunately it does not stipulate a maximum height.
