What is the question? After the purchase, you receive a voucher code that you can use at Digitec or Galaxus. The voucher code can be entered at the checkout and is debited proportionally. This means that you do not need to purchase the full amount of the voucher.
I don't know, maybe as a reason to have some "time pressure" to buy something. But who keeps a voucher for more than two years? By then it's already long forgotten. In the two years, everyone will find something to redeem it,:D

Yes, you can divide the voucher into several parts. You can always see the remaining amount in your account under "Gift vouchers". If the recipient never redeems the voucher, you can redeem it even before it expires.
