Digitus External enclosure 2.5" SATA I-II SSD
2.5"
A SATA 3 SSD is normally also compatible with SATA 2 hardware. It is very likely that the SSD is not receiving enough power.
Scope of delivery: -2.5 SDD/HDD enclosure, SATA I-II - USB 2.0 -Screwdriver -Screws -USB 2.0 cable -Operating instructions
"Modern" probably refers to the design. The problem is clearly the SATA II interface, which makes "modern" connections like USB 3.0 or 3.1 obsolete. If you want to use your 6 Gbit/s SSD sensibly, you should definitely go for a product with a SATA III interface. For me, however, it is perfect to use my old 3 Gbit/s HDD from my laptop again.
