What is the maximum thickness of the tabletop for the bracket? For 199.- I would get two.

Dear Community I can't connect this thing to my existing network. I am using a UAP-AC-Lite with Cloud-Key 2.0. Unfortunately, the 2.4GHz network is not displayed in Elgato. I have verified that the AP is transmitting on Channel 1, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have experience with the connection around the Ubiquiti AP?

Why is this Key Light PC only? I didn't find any information on Elgato's website mentioning this limitation. I have a mac and I would need to be sure that everything will work smoothly on it.

It's not PC only. I use it with a Mac and an Android phone without issues.

It depends on your application and your camera. If you shoot yourself with a normal background without cropping, one is enough for now. Then you have a soft shadow on the face. With a second light with lower luminosity you could also illuminate the shadow (keyword: fill light), but you wouldn't need it at the beginning. If, on the other hand, you want to use a green screen to cut out your face and place it in front of another shot, it depends on your camera how much light you need. With a simple webcam, you can't avoid lighting the greenscreen separately. The better the camera, the less light you need to crop. Then you could also use a front light to illuminate yourself and the green screen, but you will get green light back at you from behind. You can colour the green cast of your silhouette grey with OBS using "Spill", so that you can live with it for the time being. For professional cropping in front of the green screen, you need separate lighting, but you don't need that to start with. With my camcorder, which I use as a webcam via a cheap Capture Card USB stick, 2 keylights are enough for me and the greenscreen, while my Logitech C920 webcam can't produce a clean cropped image. My advice: Start with just one key light!

I would like to control the Key Light via the app on the PC. But my PC only has LAN internet. What kind of wifi adapter/usb stick would I have to buy so that it works and can be controlled?

Since I am using a ChromeOS device, is a PC/Mac only required for the initial setup to create the WIFI connection with the device and can the device from there be managed by the App or is a PC/Mac permantently required?

Hello, this light can be attached to any standard light stand. It is simply delivered with the table attachment (very practical by the way). Have a nice day

Definitely. I don't know if it was Digitec itself or someone else... there are some that offer 2 pieces for 50-80 CHF less as a bundle.

Works tip-top on my Mac. There is an original Mac app with which you can control the panels. I have two of them.

Hi. The current version of the Key Light on the official manufacturer's website (https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/key-light) says that the lamp has 2,800 lumens. Is this an old version of the same product? Thank you!

We will be putting our Elgato Key Light (purchased from digitec on 30.10.2020) up for sale tomorrow. We are a few employees who would have to operate the light. It's not so easy with the app. We have used the device 3 times and it is like new! It is a top light!
