The product photo of the Icy Box IB-1817Ma-C31 (silver) is that of the Icy Box IB-1817M-C31 (grey), although it should actually look like this: https://raidsonic.de/de/standards/searchresults.php?we_objectID=5902 In addition, in a previous customer question, the answer was that there was no difference. Is the model sold here now silver-coloured, as it is supposed to be, or is the grey one shown here mistakenly being sold at two different prices?

I installed a Sandisk Extreme PRO card (1000GB, M.2 2280) in this case, without any problem and without forgetting the cooling plate. Everything works normally except that the case gets very hot, even when there is no data transfer. When transferring more than 500 Gb, it was almost impossible to hold it in the hand. I suppose this could be due to the case as well as the card. But, knowing that a USB port has a voltage of 5 volts and that these cards have a voltage of 3.3 volts, could the heat come from a power surge? Does the ICY BOX convert the voltage?
