Normally it is enough to open the battery compartment of the mouse or press the button on the bottom to reset the mouse. If that doesn't help, I would check the Bluetooth window to see if the mouse is visible at all. To do this, click on the start menu (bottom left in the toolbar), type in bluetooth and click on the corresponding link. Bluetooth must be on, then click on "add bluetooth or other devices". now the mouse should be searched for / found. The mouse works great and above all does not need a USB port! Good luck.
