Yes it is, however this is the most expensive monitor with camera and speakers, if a 5K resolution is not a must I would go for a cheaper monitor such as the Philips B-line 272B7QPTKEB it has a WQHD resolution and is 27". Here is a link to it: Philips B-line 272B7QPTKEB (27", 2560 x 1440 Pixels)
The product is unfortunately on sale and can therefore no longer be offered by us.
We still have one order open. However, we have no information on when this will arrive.
This connection is not USB-C but Thunderbolt3. These are two different technologies that share an identical looking connector. The monitor requires Thunderbolt3 on the computer side - so it will never work if the computer does not have a Thunderbolt3 connector. The notebook from "DownOnHaley" below, who writes about his "HP EliteBook 840 G7", has a device with a Thunderbolt3 connector - I just looked it up - so the 5K display works fine with it. But on a device that only has USB-C, the 5K display will never work.
Hello, Mac Book Air from 2018 or newer. Mac book Pro from 2016 or newer via Thunderbolt 3 cable to display full resolution of 5120 x 2880 at 60 hz.
For me, only the suitability for my mac book air was important. But I find the colours very good and brilliant.
Because the suppliers can't deliver on time, that's not Digitec's fault.
Unfortunately, the product is currently not available and cannot be procured from our suppliers at the moment. Therefore, the order function has been deactivated. As soon as we know more, we will be happy to reactivate it.
Is the question still relevant?
There is no difference. They are the same monitors. However, it is known that many products available at Apple are cheaper on other sites. The difference is usually around CHF 300.
Hello Yes, you are absolutely right. The LG website says the following: "27" 5K (5120 x 2880) IPS Display". Kind regards
