No, you are right. The specification of 700W is the "minimum system power requirement (W)". This means the recommended power supply unit for the complete system in order to run reliably and stably.

According to Powercolor, you should have at least 700W for the complete system. The board itself already has 2x8-pin power supply.
Yes, it's too expensive. I bought the card new here at Digitec about 3 years ago and paid 429Chf.

yes, you only need 2x min pcie 3.0 x 8 -> x4 does not work...

Apart from my point of view, the graphics card is only to be seen in the gaming sector. The preferred graphics cards for CMD in professional use are the Quadro graphics cards. If you are looking for something as cheap as possible, I would recommend a Quadro or an RTX. Please correct me if I am wrong somewhere.
