Hello Evoluzzer1980, yes, there is no subscription requirement. You only get a voucher as a gift: We'll give you a digitec connect voucher with this product. You benefit from a mobile phone subscription with unlimited data consumption throughout Switzerland for CHF 20 instead of CHF 49 per month for 12 months. The voucher, worth CHF 348, also includes unlimited call minutes (excl. value-added services) and an unlimited number of SMS/MMS in Switzerland as well as 1 GB roaming in the EU/USA per month. The voucher will be sent to you by e-mail after the product has been dispatched; the promotion is only valid for private customers. You can also give the voucher to your loved ones as a gift if you don't want to use it yourself. The voucher can be used for an unlimited period of time. Practical if you are still tied to your current mobile phone provider.

But if you google it, it already looks like it's a screen protector: https://www.spickipedia.com/index.php/samsung-galaxy-s20/schutzfolie-ab-werk-auf-dem-samsung-galaxy-s20-s20-oder-s20-ultra-vorhanden.html

Personally, I wouldn't buy a model that came out in 2020 in 2022. Support starts with the year of release and two years less support is match decisive for such an expensive product. It's better to choose a model from 2022, which usually has better and more energy-efficient processors. For around 400 francs, you could also get a phone from another manufacturer that has 5G, 256 GB of storage and a 108 MP camera, which I would definitely prefer to an old phone like this. Of course, it's up to everyone to decide what they want to buy, but I would think twice about it, because security comes with updates, and the Galaxy S20 will stop getting updates in October 2024, while a new Samsung, for example, would easily get 5 to 6 years of updates.

I would think twice, it's an expensive phone with old technology. Samsung offers 4 years of updates, but two of them are already over. There are much cheaper alternatives from other manufacturers that are new to the market and at the beginning of their life cycle. For example, a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G would certainly be a very good device, it is very light, has a fast CPU, good battery life and gets 3 + 1 years of updates from the manufacturer. Maybe that would be an alternative to the Samsung? Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G (8GB) (128 GB, Truffle Black, 6.55 ", Dual SIM, 64 Mpx, 5G)

The price development arises from the fact that we work with daily prices. These can change daily. The reason for this is that we do not necessarily have only one supplier for an item, but rather use several suppliers to ensure that delivery is guaranteed as much as possible. Each supplier has different prices. Therefore, it may be that the price is sometimes higher and sometimes lower.
