Yamaha R-N303d
network receiver
The device does not have a USB port and is designed for listening to Rasio, DAB+ and (Internet) network sources with the MusicCast control software (on the device or via phone / tablet app IOS and Android). For "hardware sources", the CD-S303 is recommended. This device can play music CDs, CD-Rs and USB sticks via the USB-A(!) plug on the front, all via remote control. The software in the device can address up to 9 levels, 999 folders and 65535 files on the stick. The sticks must be formatted in FAT 16 or FAT 32. Digital media without DRM encryption ("unprotected files") in MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV PCM and FLAC can be played. Exact details can be found in the CD-S303 manual (online at Yamaha CH).
Good morning, as already mentioned by other users, it is a normal hifi amplifier, I used old Kenwood 3-way speakers on channel A, and speakers from an old Sony 2-way mini rack on channel B.
Fuse has blown because of a power overload, if it is still under warranty send the device to Digitec. I had the same problem, it was repaired quickly and the device has been running without problems for a year.
Hello... Strange. Doesn't ring a bell. I would have said reconfigure. If that doesn't work, maybe pull the plug everywhere. In case of connection problems in general, no matter which device, it often helps to restart the router and all other access points from the WLAN. And if necessary, also reinstall the app...
Hello, the unit cannot be switched on with the "Optical" button alone; it can only be switched on with the "Power" button. However, the reciver saves the last selected function, i.e. if music was last played via "Optical" and the reciver is switched on again, the "Optical" function is still selected and playback from the TV takes place directly via the reciver.
This is Yamaha's general agency for Switzerland. It has a list of dealers per canton. The general agency or a dealer may be able to help you. https://www.eurotronic.li/ Maybe also this service centre: E-AUDIO/HANSPETER EHRSAM WEIDBRUNNENSTRASSE 18 LANGNAU AM ALBIS, 8135 0041 44 720 11 37 SALES@E-AUDIO.CH
Doesn't help you solve your problem, but maybe it will interest other users: My device runs flawlessly with 1.19.
I don't know. I only use the supplied antenna and Net Radio for reception.
As far as I know, this is only possible directly in the Bluetooth mode of the device. Simply select it on the remote control or in the app, then the device list on the mobile phone should show the receiver...
You need a phono input. The R-N303D only has one outside Europe. Therefore, no, you need a preamplifier or a receiver with a phono input. Source: Downloads -> Manual -> Page 11: "PHONO jacks (R-N303, except European model)". model) For connecting a record player"
Didn't have any wifi speakers until now. Blueooth speakers cannot be connected, only Yamaha speakers.
The R-N303, equipped with Bluetooth functionality, allows you to enjoy the convenience of wireless music playback from your smartphone or other device. You need to connect your Apple computer to the amplifier via Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi.
Hello I wanted to send you an excerpt of the manual as a JPG, but that is not possible as an answer. The manual only tells me that Bluetooth devices can be connected and the data on them can be played back via the receiver. The reverse is probably not possible. Sending data from the receiver to the headphones is not possible.
According to our research, this receiver does not have a phono input. You would therefore also need a pre-amp if your turntable does not have one built in.
Hi! You can simply connect your smartphone with bluetooth to the amp. You can also change the volume directly in spotify, so you don't have to look for the amp's remote control.
I have found a solution myself: via "Options" I can start a DAB station search. Then the unit finds the DAB stations.
According to my own research, the Youtube Music service is not available, sorry. However, other music services such as Spotify, napster or Deezer are offered.
Sorry, I can't help you there. My old receiver gave up the ghost. I chose the Yamaha because I've known the company for 40 years and it was as wide as my age :-( Anyway, I'm happy with it. The only thing I haven't managed so far is an Internet connection, but I don't care.
Yes, the N303D can be connected. According to the manual, speakers with 8Ohms and more are recommended. The B&W 684 S2 have 8Ohms. The amplifier power also matches B&W's recommendations. Connecting the speakers is described on page 11 of the manual (see Digitec product page of the R-N303D). Bi-wiring is also possible, if desired.
Yes, of course...
Hello DAB+ reception works with the supplied antenna, does not need to be connected to a network.
There is a separate product category for this at Digitec: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/phono-vorverstaerker-1452 Whether an MC or MM preamplifier is necessary should be stated in the operating instructions of the turntable.
The best way is via one of the two optical inputs (instructions p.11/6+7), depending on whether your TV has such an output.
Yes, unfortunately the European model does not have a phono input.
