Parrot Zik 2.0
ANC, 6 h, Wireless
I bought the Parrot Zik for myself on the PC. I got recommendations from my work colleagues and internet forums. I can confirm all the basically positive comments. However, the headset was built for mobile phones and can only really be used to its full potential with an Android or iPhone. However, the overall concept is so well done that I would recommend this headset without reservation for PCs.
Construction
The headset is made of metal parts. It doesn't break as quickly as the plastic ones. The size adjustment has a good range, it fits my head as well as my children's. It locks in well. The lid of the battery compartment is held in place magnetically.
The noise reduction is good, but I can't compare it with other brands (Sennheiser, Bose) as I don't have these devices.
The touch control panel is responsive and gives feedback with an audible click. The volume control is the only function I can use when working on the PC, as the other functions don't really work without the phone, app and Bluetooth. However, the sound quality is convincing.
One special thing to say: The headset also works without battery or switched off. However, the sound then leaves a lot to be desired. but if it's just a matter of finishing a phone call, for example, even though the battery has "run out", you can do that.
The only negative point is that all the sound controls do not work via USB or the cable. This is despite the fact that the headset is charged via USB and the firmware updates also go via USB. (The headset is recognised by the PC as an external drive).

I have only had the device for a short time and first had to realise that driver support is difficult under Windows 7. In the end, however, everything worked: The HP EliteBook works as soon as you install the Broadcom driver for Bluetooth. The device also works with the Bluetooth extension ASUS USB-BT400 for my desktop (Bluetooth via USB). I had to switch off the "Parrot RFcomm service" under Properties - Services in all constellations because no drivers are found for this service (see also http://thewelltemperedcomputer.com/HW...). Updating the device to version 2.05 (firmware?) also worked. To do this, the device is connected to the PC as a USB mass storage device and a plf file is copied (http://www.parrot.com/de...). If you follow the described sequence, everything works, the control is based on a flashing LED on the unit. What is a pity is that apart from these features, there is no software for Windows or other PCs, only Android and iOS are supported (which I have not tried yet).
But once it's up and running, you can put on your headphones, block out the office noise and enjoy the sound...

I have had the Parrot Zik 1.0 for 3 years.
I am very satisfied. The best headphones I know and wear every day!
Now I also have the Parrot Zik 2.0 in orange.
2.0 Awesome software!
Now the part sounds even better.
Attention Parrot Zik battery does not fit on Zik battery 2.0!

I was very satisfied with the Parrot Zik 2.0 Bluetooth headphones. Until after a little over a year, the glue on the foam cover on the left ear cup started to come loose. Today (04.06.2016) I returned the headphones to the Digitec branch in Wohlen - let's see how long the repair will take.
Otherwise the following:
The sound is excellent, the noise reduction very good - even when doing noisy work such as mowing the lawn and vacuuming, you can listen to music nicely :-)
The app it takes to configure it is also well made and easy to use. It is interesting to try out the different settings. Especially when switching noise reduction, concert reverb effects and equaliser settings on and off, the differences can be striking.
I like the design very much, and what is further positive is the possibility to easily replace the battery. With a few gestures on the right ear, music playback (forward/back, pause, play) and volume can be controlled, which usually works very well.
There's a small deduction for wearing comfort: I find the headphones a little heavy, but that's probably unavoidable.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the Parrot Zik 2.0 and would buy them again and of course recommend them to others.

I am really thrilled. Fantastic sound, good dynamic range, top quality and top design, good battery life, nothing else to complain about. Simply the best headphones I've had so far!
Pro
The Parrot Zik 2.0 has excellent sound quality. The app allows an incredible number of settings and the noise cancellation prevents muffled noises completely.
However, I would advise anyone not to buy this product as the outer casing started to peel off completely just after the warranty period. Very disappointing and I paid 357 CHF for it on digitec.

The headphones are very high quality. They connect instantly to my phone, the app is well designed and exceptionally user-friendly. The noise cancellation works excellently. You can individually set how much the ambient noise should be suppressed - the spectrum ranges from almost complete isolation to street mode. An extremely sophisticated product.

The technology and sound of these headphones is excellent, and the workmanship is also good; here, however, I could imagine that the cover with the magnetic holder is not always held firmly enough. The design is very nice, and the operation via smartphone app is versatile, but still very clear and smooth.
Now I don't know if I have particularly sensitive ear cups - in any case, they started to hurt after a while. For me, the pressure of this headphone on the auricles is clearly too strong and I could therefore not use it for longer listening.
For this reason, I wanted to return it to Digitec in absolutely perfect condition, without any visible signs of use, and with all accessories. I was assured on the phone that this was possible (with a small discount). In the shop, however, it was a completely different story: they refused to take back the headphones because they were a "hygienic item" that could not be taken back.
I therefore have no choice but to sell them via ricardo in the near future - and not to trust digitec's telephone information very much any more.

Good sound, different settings can be adjusted and saved with the app. Comfortable to wear. Noise cannelloni works well.
The battery cover is attached with a magnet and has fallen off several times with the battery falling out.
Sometimes you touch the touch surface unintentionally.

Very good headphones.
The sound is too loud, but with the perfect noise cancelling, loud listening is not necessary.
Extremely satisfied.

All in all, a brilliant pair of headphones. Definitely worth the chunk of money. The noise cancellation works great, it's really lovely to turn them on in a noisy server room and then sit back and relax. The Bluetooth connection is also excellent and the battery seems to last a long time. I would recommend the product to anyone looking for a great pair of headphones.

I use the headphones both for listening to music when I'm driving to work or otherwise on the road, and for video editing. It works well. The sound quality is great. They also look great and I love the noise cancellation, which is great. I took the headphones with me on my last trip abroad and they worked perfectly on long flights. Air travel is a revelation with the headphones.

The Parrot Zik 2.0 is a really comfortable headset that provides very good sound.
Very easy to use, the brand has created an application to control and customise its headphones. It features ambient noise control, allowing you to reduce or increase external noise. There is also the possibility to change the audio settings, or download presets from certain artists.
In addition, the right side of the device is touch-sensitive, making it easy to control things like volume, stop/pause, and changing music.
The advantage of the Parrot Zik 2.0 is that it is wireless. The battery life is quite good, around 10 hours. However, wireless means battery. The charging time is about 2h30. The battery is removable, but I did not find a charger for battery alone.

The Parrot Zik 2.0 wireless headphones, "designed" by the well-known French designer Philippe Starck, are a very nice pair of mobile headphones. The active noise reduction is really surprisingly effective, but on the audio side, we'll have to pay particular attention to the encoding of our songs. Since the Zik 2.0 is unforgiving, you'll have to prefer FLAC formats to weak Mp3s, as with all headphones. A beautiful object, the Zik 2.0 surprises by its robustness and its elegant finish, but it will not be the same on the audio side. A magnificent object that will, in the end, delight our eyes more than our ears.

Good, robust and visually very appealing headphones. The sound and noise-cancelling technology are great. I've had them with me on every business trip for two months, I don't know what I'd do without them. They are very comfortable and the touchpad is seductively easy to use.

Great headphones, I am very satisfied with them. My only criticism is that it doesn't come with a carrying case - that's really unacceptable in this price range, which is bordering on the premium league. The sound quality is great, and I particularly like the touch control panel. The app is okay. Before I bought the headphones, I had another favourite app for playing music, but this one does the trick, too.
One of my favourite features of the headphones is the integrated touchpad. The sound quality is top-notch and in the app itself you can choose numerous different settings - such as "concert hall sound", etc. The headphones have a comfortable fit, which is a big plus especially on longer flights.
I bought the headphones a few months ago and have been using them almost every day since. A great companion when travelling by plane. The noise cancellation is simply outstanding - most background noise is blocked out. As for the sound quality: I wouldn't necessarily call myself an audiophile, but I like music to sound clear, and these headphones have crystal clear sound and good bass.

I am very pleased with them. The sound quality is excellent and the headphones are very comfortable to wear, even on a daily basis. The design is chic and elegant, and it has an impressive range of functions. You can change the settings individually using the free Audio Suite app, which is included.

I use the headphones in the office, train / plane and sometimes while cooking :)
The active noise cancelling is very good and can filter regular noises (train / plane) almost perfectly.
Due to the well-made headphones, noises of all kinds are attenuated even without noise cancelling.
You can operate the device and its sound settings via mobile phone and you are really quite free as far as the EQ is concerned.
In the office, the thing is ideal for listening to music and making phone calls.
The feedback from my callers has always been very good and they always had the feeling that I was using the phone normally. When used continuously in the office, the battery lasts 7 hours.
With a cable, you can even fly from Switzerland to Japan and use the active noise cancelling without having to change the battery... :) However, the EQ settings do not work then.
A bag should be bought with the device, because the headphones quickly break in a backpack without protection.
I've read a lot about the fabric in the headphones breaking and now, after a year of use, it's happened to me too. I exchanged the headphones for a guarantee and was assured that they would be replaced without any problems.

Good sound quality. Very comfortable. I can wear it for hours without my ears hurting or finding it exhausting, even though I am very sensitive to the feeling of pressure on my head. The sound suppression works very well, the ambient noise is swallowed without having to turn the volume up full. Of course, these are not cheap headphones, but they are a lot of fun. All in all, I can't praise the headphones enough.
I ordered the Zik 2.0 after careful consideration, reading countless tests and comparisons and listening to several headsets. The headphones already sound very good in the default setting and can be adjusted almost infinitely via the app to suit your own taste or the corresponding music style. I use the headphones mainly for working in the office and on planes. Noises are filtered very effectively, as soon as I listen to music with activated noise cancelling at a rather low volume for my circumstances, the noises of the air conditioning, the ringing of the telephone or the conversations of the office colleagues disappear. Even after wearing them for a long time (several hours at a stretch), I didn't notice any pressure points. Only the headband presses a little from time to time, which is one of the few negative points. I have a rather large head and have to stretch the headband to the maximum to get it to fit. Otherwise, I am also very happy with the touch control directly on the right ear cup, for example, because I don't have to take my smartphone out of my pocket every time. The call function is also extremely practical and the battery life is more than sufficient for my use. It is usually sufficient for a day in the office (with Bluetooth and noise cancelling activated), and when connected to a standard smartphone charging cable, the device is fully charged again in a short time. As far as the music quality and sound are concerned, everyone has their own preferences and for audiophiles I would definitely recommend a test listen before buying.

The guys from Parrot have definitely done a great job with the development of the headphones. The design is great, the sound quality extremely clear. With the accompanying app, you can refine the sound even more. However, one of my favourite features is the noise cancellation function, which I think is worth every penny. It works great and gives me a pleasant listening experience without annoying noises from outside.

The headphones are great. The sound is great, they are very comfortable to wear and have a very good noise cancelling function. I hear practically no ambient noise when music is playing. Of course, they are not cheap, but in my opinion the price is justified.

Great piece. Wireless is ingenious. Once you've used it, you'll never want to use a cable again. Music quality is excellent. Suppression of ambient noise is great, recovery effect during longer stays in noisy surroundings is enormous (train, plane) Wearing comfort has room for improvement. The area in the middle of the headband is squeezing and should be wider and softer. I haven't quite got the hang of the volume control with the touch control yet, but I think I'll learn, it's very sensitive. All in all, I highly recommend it.

The headphones are a bit heavy compared to the Bose Quiet Comfort and the ear space is a bit small (if you have big ears, try them first, as it's not certain that they fit exclusively on the skull).
Excellent sound!
Very nice touch functions! Small problem of reactivity from time to time.
The only drawback is that the Parrot Zik 2.0 application is almost compulsory (Android and Mac but not found on PC) to take full advantage of the headset's capabilities.
On the other hand, with the application provided, the ambient noise suppression mode is very effective and its adjustable function is fantastic!
I don't regret my choice!
