UL, CSA. XPE plastic foot switch. Foot switch with plastic housing, with or without protective cover. The versions with protective cover are highly recommended for areas with high risks, where unintentional starting of the machine by people or falling objects may occur. Foot switches with 2-stage contacts are ideal for machines with two speeds. The first stage (6 mm travel) operates a set of normally closed and normally open contacts before the second stage, after the full travel (12 mm), operates the other normally closed and normally open contacts. The versions with release mechanism allow the pedal to be locked in the rest position and can only be pressed down again after a direct action. Available with or without release mechanism in 1- or 2-stage version. Large pedal surface ensures good foot stability and high operating comfort. High and wide protective cover suitable for large safety shoes. Can be mounted to the floor or on a base for added stability. Blue IP66 plastic housing.
