This sandblasted aluminium case offers a variety of functions such as direct touch heatpipe cooling and a little more space for drives thanks to the hard drive mounting. The FC10B Alpha is much more than a computer case - it combines form and function like a work of art. It can actually accommodate motherboards in standard ATX format.

Minimalist design and the use of high-quality materials continue to characterise the case. The entire outer shell (including the on/off switch) is made of sandblasted aluminium. The FC10B Alpha has passive CPU cooling with four heatpipes including mounting material for all current sockets. CPUs up to a TDP of 95 W (with sufficient airflow around the housing) can be operated passively (recommended 65 W TDP).

Two USB 3.0 ports, which are connected internally to the mainboard, are already installed ex works. In addition to Mini-ITX, the (Micro-)ATX standard can also be installed in the FC10B Alpha. Three 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch drives can be used internally at the same time. Depending on the components used, three further 3.5-inch drives and a further 2.5-inch drive can be installed. Two full-size expansion cards can also be used, but this requires the use of riser cards or cables.

The solid aluminium front with a thickness of 4 mm at the front and 9 mm at the sides only has cut-outs for the optional infrared interface and the power button. Once the hardware is installed, there are very few openings. There are only ventilation holes on the sides, in the base and in the lid. Note: This model does not have a slot for an optical drive.
