The ToughMAX USB stick is made from KyronMAX composite material, a thermoplastic metal substitute that can withstand particularly high loads. KyronMAX composites are ideally suited as USB casing material due to their extremely low weight and high robustness. They are characterized by their resistance to temperatures, pressure, and other stresses, thus protecting data from physical damage. This exceptional material is used in numerous industries, such as aerospace, medical, industrial, and automotive. It has a higher tensile strength than steel. With its housing made from structural KyronMAX composites, the ToughMAX USB stick is resistant to compressive forces of up to 2,250 kg, water pressure up to 30 m depth, and temperatures ranging from -25 °C to 150 °C. Thanks to its backward compatibility, the USB stick can also be used with older USB ports.
