The Industrial Managed Switch 6-Port 1000BASE-T 2-Slot 1000BASE-SX/LX MAC Security Der 852-1328 is an industrial, configurable Ethernet switch with 6 ports for 10/100/1000BASE-T and 2 SFP-1000BASE-SX/LX ports (SFP modules are available as an option). Data encryption is performed according to IEEE802.1AE (MAC Security Standard) during communication over the SFP slots (Port 7 and 8). This functionality, combined with its compact dimensions, makes this product suitable for retrofitting network security in the ongoing operation of automation systems. The customer application remains unchanged. Optional authentication of additional participants in the network is performed port-specifically according to IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS server. The switch features a robust housing and redundant power supply.
