The HEATKILLER IV BASIC represents the most extensive development to date. The cooling structure has undergone the most significant revision. Thanks to refined micro fins, the cooling medium now has a much larger contact area with the cooler. The flow behavior has also been optimized. Compared to the previous model, these changes have increased cooling performance by up to 3 °C. The flow rate is positively affected as well, supported by large-volume collection channels. The HEATKILLER IV BASIC features a true high-flow design, making it the perfect partner for lower-performance pumps. The new cooling structure completely does away with a nozzle plate. This omission enhances the passive reliability of the cooler, as fewer dirt particles can accumulate in the cooling structure with this design. There have also been significant improvements in the equipment. The HEATKILLER IV BASIC now includes a convenient Easy-Mount system. After the initial installation, the cooler can be mounted or dismounted at any time without tools. The motherboard no longer needs to be removed for this. The mounting system specifies the clamping forces, making incorrect installation practically impossible. The HEATKILLER IV BASIC is a "Made in Germany" product. Manufacturing takes place on a state-of-the-art CNC machine park at Watercool's company location.
