Best TP-Link products in the Access points category

On this page you'll find a ranking of the best TP-Link products in this category. To give you a quick overview, we've already ranked the most important information about the products for you.

1. TP-Link EAP653

Business WiFi 6 of the new era with speeds of up to 2976 Mbps offers more than double the speed of WiFi 5. Every application feels smoother thanks to drastically improved WiFi speeds. The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices, including access points, switches and routers. It offers 100% centralised cloud management and creates a highly scalable network controlled via a single interface.

2. TP-Link EAP610-Outdoor

Access Point Features: Access Point, Antenna connection: Antennas Internally pre-installed, Outdoor use: Yes, RJ-45 ports: 1, PoE: Yes, WLAN standard: IEEE 802.11a (Wi-Fi 1), IEEE 802.11b (Wi-Fi 2), IEEE 802.11g (Wi-Fi 3), IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), IEEE 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4), IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5).

3. TP-Link EAP673

4. TP-Link EAP650

Professional antennas equipped with high-performance amplifiers utilise WiFi 6 technology to ensure strong and far-reaching wireless coverage in various outdoor areas.

As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, Multi-User MIMO technology has been introduced. By utilising Multi-User MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously. This allows your Wi-Fi network to deliver faster throughput to each connected client. This means faster downloads and lag-free streaming for your devices.

Thanks to Multi-SSID, you can use this access point to operate several wireless network zones with different names and access rights. One option would be to set up separate network segments for individual departments or, for example, operate smart home and IoT devices in separate zones. This way, visitors' smartphones do not have access to PCs with confidential data on the network side. If you expand your wireless network with additional access points, make sure that the new APs support at least as many SSIDs per wireless module as your router/WLAN controller.

5. TP-Link EAP625-Outdoor HD

6. TP-Link Omada AX6000

Blazing-Fast WiFi 6 Speeds: Simultaneous 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz totals 5952 Mbps WiFi speeds.†
High-Efficiency WiFi 6: More connected devices
can enjoy faster speeds.
Centralized Cloud Management: Omada SDN integration manages the whole network locally or from the cloud via web UI or Omada app.
160 MHz Channel: Double the data at peak transmission times on a single stream with HE160.‡
Seamless Roaming: Video streams and voice calls are unaffected as users move between locations.§
Omada Mesh: Enables wireless connectivity between access points for extended range and flexible deployment.§
PoE+ Powered: Supports both 802.3at PoE+ and DC (adapter included) power supply for flexible installations.

7. TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor: WLAN-AC AP

With a special design of antennas, housings, power options and installation methods, EAP225 Outdoor can be perfectly applied for various indoor and outdoor scenarios. Thanks to MU-MIMO, the access point is able to exchange data with several end devices at the same time, reducing waiting times and increasing overall network speeds.

Removable antennas and mounting kit
EAP225-Outdoor is equipped with two detachable omnidirectional antennas, so that other types of antennas can be mounted according to your specific requirements. With the supplied mounting kit you can easily and safely mount your access point to a wall or mast.

WLAN over distance
With its high transmission power and two high-gain omnidirectional antennas, the EAP225 outdoor antenna offers good WLAN coverage for outdoor use within a radius of up to 200m.

IP65-certified weatherproof housing
With IP65 certification, the rugged enclosure protects your access points from the elements.

EAP controller software for the simplest central administration
Easily manage and monitor hundreds of EAPs in one place. TP-Links Omada controller software has an intuitive user interface. Control the entire network from any PC inside. Business WLAN management has never been easier.

WLAN standard 802.11ac
The WLAN standard 802.11ac offers you up to twice as much data throughput as older standards. On the one hand, the increase is achieved by widening the transmission bandwidth. In addition, 802.11ac can be used to increase the number of parallel data streams (Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO for short) to up to eight MIMO streams, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Even large data blocks such as videos and backups are no problem with this WLAN speed.

Multi-SSID support
Thanks to Multi-SSID, you can use this access point to operate multiple wireless network zones with different names and access rights. One possibility would be to set up separate network segments for individual departments or, for example, to operate Smart Home and IoT devices in separate zones. For example, visitors' smartphones already have no access to PCs with confidential data on the network side. If you are expanding your wireless network with additional access points, make sure that the new APs support at least as many SSIDs per wireless module as your router/WLAN controller.

Easy installation thanks to PoE
This network-enabled device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) over the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach locations or in areas where many cables would interfere. You save installation costs and, if desired, you can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).

More networked devices benefit from higher speeds. Manage the entire network locally or from the cloud. Double the data at peak transfer times on one. With guest networks, Captive Portal and WPA3 encryption.

9. TP-Link EAP610 V2.20

Caractéristiques du point d'accès : TP-Link Omada SDN, Raccordement d'antenne : Antennes internes préinstallées, Utilisation en extérieur : Non, Ports RJ-45 : 1, PoE : Oui, Norme WLAN : 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), 802.11a (Wi-Fi 2), 802.11g (Wi-Fi 3), 802.11b (Wi-Fi 1), 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4).

10. TP-Link EAP245

Supports PoE to 802.3at for easy, cost-effective installation without laying new cables. Captive portal for secure access control and easy guest authentication. 450 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbit/s on 5G Hz at the same time result in a total data rate of 1750 Mbit/s. Band steering automatically places dual-band devices in the less busy frequency band. Load balancing ensures that the line capacity is also divided fairly into large user groups.
