3. Strymon Riverside multistage drive effectpedaal
With the Riverside, you add a super versatile overdrive channel to any amplifier. In the broadest sense of the principle, Strymon has designed the Riverside to match with any amplifier and cover the entire spectrum of gain. Whether you want a very mild and crystal-clear edge or a muddy distortion, the Riverside can create it all. It is a multi-stage overdrive that you can use as a full-fledged channel of your amplifier.
Start with the right sound using the mini-toggle switch to choose between low and high gain, the degree of mid-push, and select the presence on the back of the pedal. You can then fully control the Riverside with the well-known but very effective and powerful 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble), gain, and level controls. Simple, yet very effective.
And Strymon wouldn’t be Strymon if this pedal didn’t have some useful extra features. At the start of the favorite switch, this is a preset for your favorite sound that activates alongside the stand. This way, you have two overdrive sounds available with the Riverside! Additionally, this pedal includes extra features such as a boost and noise reduction function. The boost can be independently turned on and off via the optional additional mini-switch from Strymon.
Finally, with an expression pedal, there is the option to manage a pot meter, allowing you to work super dynamically with this already very versatile preamp. The 9VDC power supply is included.

5. Strymon Sunset -s??r??pedaali
For us, the Strymon Sunset earns the honorary title of one of the best overdrives of the moment. It not only sounds fantastic but is also very functional and versatile. Let's start with the sound! Pedals often sound good like a pedal. This is, of course, somewhat logical and in many cases desirable, but the Sunset sounds almost synonymous with the overdrive of a tube amplifier, naturally very dynamic and thick. The design of the pedal is well thought out and very user-friendly, while Strymon has integrated a lot of functionality and a variety of sounds into the Sunset.
With the Sunset, you have two completely separate and independent controls at your disposal. Channel A offers a range of classic overdrives (Germanium diode clipping, Texas soft clipping, treble booster) that are perfect for singing and fluid overdrive tones. Channel B provides stronger and more complex, hard-hitting overdrives. Channel B is therefore a bit more aggressive and logically serves as a superlative for Channel A in many cases. It is possible to switch between the two channels, but you can also stack them. It is even possible to set the order of the two channels relative to each other, and it can also be configured for both channels to be routed in parallel.
To top it all off, the Sunset is equipped with a noise surprise feature as an intelligent secondary characteristic (press the B switch and the level parameter of Channel A is your control for the noise surprise). The 9VDC power supply is included.
