In close collaboration, Hagstrom's design team, along with Papa Emeritus and the Nameless Ghouls of the band Ghost, developed the Fantomen (Swedish for Phantom). This guitar combines Hagstrom's legendary playability with a technical sophistication that caters to all the sound expectations of the hardcore genre. The foundation consists of an asymmetrically shaped body made of solid mahogany and a mahogany neck, connected by Hagstrom's signature neck joint system. Like many Hagstrom guitars, the Fantomen features the H-Expander truss rod and is equipped with a Resinator fretboard, which not only stabilizes the neck but also significantly contributes to the guitar's tonal quality. These components provide a solid basis for a versatile and perfectly responsive sound.
2. Hagstrom Bass Guitar, Swede, Wild Cherry Transparent
The proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing is hidden in the elegant mahogany finish of the reissue of the Swede Bass. Like its six-string sister, this beautifully shaped single-cut bass with a short scale features two humbuckers and a 3-way tone filter circuit. The balanced, almost piano-like sound, which emerges both from the individual pickup positions and the combined setting, offers a rich bass foundation with finely detailed overtones. Additionally, the humbuckers can be individually split to single-coil operation via the tone pots, providing an even richer sound output. It also features a Graphtech Tusq nut, a Resinator fingerboard with 22 frets, and a bridge consisting of a Longtravel Tune-O-Matic and a tailpiece with 4 individual brass elements.

A stunning single-cut guitar featuring a mahogany neck and body, along with a maple top adorned with a flamed maple veneer. A significant difference from its Swedish brother is the longer scale length of 25.5 inches, offering you a blend of characteristics from American brands. It boasts a very similar appearance, sound, and feel. Equipped with two powerful Custom 58 Alnico5 humbuckers with separate tone controls and an additional filter circuit. Hagstrom uses a chrome TOM bridge and a stop tailpiece. This Super Swede feels at home in many music styles, from clean to full-on rock! Case or gig bag not included.
