The Lindy Cat.6 DVI-D KVM Extender allows users to control a source device, such as a PC, from up to 140 meters away using a single keyboard, mouse, and display via a Cat.6 RJ45 cable connection. It supports DVI single-link resolutions up to 1920x1200 and HDMI signals including Full HD 1080p, 3D, and HDCP 1.4. The extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit. The transmitter connects to the source, such as a PC or KVM switch, via a DVI and a USB cable. The console, which includes the display, keyboard, and mouse, is connected to the receiver in the same way. It is also possible to connect additional USB 2.0 devices like flash drives and hard drives (webcams are not supported).
