3. PCE Instruments Flow meter Heat meter
The ultrasonic flow meter is required for control measurements or for quickly determining the flow rate in a pipeline, making it a portable and easy-to-install measurement system. The ultrasonic flow meter operates based on the time-of-flight difference method. The measurement principle of the flow meter is quite simple. When measuring at an angle in a pipe with the flow, it takes less time than when measuring against the flow. The stronger the flow, the longer it takes to measure against it and the faster it is with it. Therefore, the difference between the flow times with and against the flow directly depends on the flow velocity. The flow meter uses this effect to determine flow velocity and flow rate. Electroacoustic transducers (piezoelectric effect) send and receive short ultrasonic pulses through the medium flowing in the pipe.

4. PCE Instruments PCE-SG antifreeze refractometer
Measuring device for determining the antifreeze content in aqueous solutions. With this measuring device, you can quickly and accurately determine the antifreeze content in your systems and machines. 7. PCE Instruments Temperature Data Logger Accelerometer
This data logger is therefore excellent for monitoring vibrations in machines while simultaneously measuring and recording significant environmental conditions of the system. Manufacturing or processing machines, such as a multi-axis milling machine, do use significantly improved drive units; however, the data logger can still capture the basic vibration behavior of the machine and subsequently record the development of vibrations over time. This allows for the assessment of the milling machine's vibration behavior at short intervals and the localization of emerging sources of error.

8. PCE Instruments Instruments PCE-032-LED Brix refractometer with LED illumination
Brix Refractometer with Illumination
The Brix refractometer with automatic temperature compensation and LED light in the prism cover is an optical instrument that examines the behavior of light as it transitions from one medium to another. It is essential to keep both the prism and the prism cover clean, dry, and free of scratches.
This Brix refractometer operates on the principle of transmitted light and is suitable for examining transparent liquids. Unlike analog Brix refractometers, which typically rely on ambient light, this model features LED illumination in the prism cover. This allows for independence from ambient light and enables measurements even in low-light outdoor conditions.
The scaling is calibrated to the LED lighting, allowing measurements to be taken in cellars, laboratories, production halls, or workshops without the need to check and readjust the scale for the specific artificial light. The LED light is refracted at the interface between the sample liquid and the measuring prism and directed through a lens onto a disc with a measuring scale.
The refractive index of the liquid being examined determines the angle at which the light hits the lens from the measuring prism. The angle of light refraction determines which areas of the measuring scale are illuminated. The value for the tested liquid can be read on the scale at the boundary line between light and dark.
This illuminated Brix refractometer has a scale ranging from 0 to 32% Brix with a scale division of 0.2% Brix.

9. PCE Instruments PCE-LTD 100 Temperature Data Logger -80 to +70 °C
The Cryo Data Logger PCE-LTD 100 can record temperatures ranging from -80 °C to +70 °C. The prefix "cryo" comes from Greek, where "kryos" means cold. Cryo data loggers are devices that can measure and record particularly low temperatures. With a measurement range starting at minus 80 °C, the Cryo Data Logger PCE-LTD 100 is suitable for temperature monitoring during the transport and storage of blood plasma, vaccines, and dry ice made from solid carbon dioxide. Especially during the transport of vaccines related to Covid-19, providing evidence of a consistently maintained cold chain from production to vaccination is crucial. Since some vaccines must be transported at very low temperatures, this also requires the use of specially designed measuring technology. Vaccines that need to be stored at -70 °C, for example, are partially transported in specialized containers with dry ice. Due to its robust and compact design and a special battery adapted to the conditions, the Cryo Data Logger can be easily used in various cooling containers and refrigeration devices. The high protection rating of IP 67 ensures that water and foreign objects cannot penetrate the Cryo Data Logger, allowing for thorough and hygienic cleaning. The special battery is suitable for low temperatures but has a significantly shorter runtime at extreme temperatures. At temperatures between -80 °C and -70 °C, the Cryo Data Logger can store measurement data at 15-minute intervals for up to 30 days with this battery. The highest accuracy of the Cryo Data Logger is ±0.5 °C in the temperature range of -30 °C to +70 °C. In the range of -80 °C to -31 °C, the accuracy is ±1 °C. The Cryo Data Logger has an internal memory for 17,280 measurement data points.
