Apparently there is a LC49G94TSSUXEN and a LC49G95TSSUXEN, what is the difference? What are the manufacturing dates of the monitors currently in stock at Digitec?

Helpful answer

The models are technically identical. The model designations in this case indicate that the products are each offered for a different European market.
My brother received his from Digitec a fortnight ago with a production date of August 2020 (QC at the beginning of August) and without a light gap. I therefore tend to assume that the current models from Digitec are "save".

There is a spreadsheet on Reddit with all the G9s that have been delivered and reported. So far, the light gap has not occurred in any G9 produced since August. Every second G9 produced in June was still affected. So the problem seems to have been solved permanently. The flickering only occurs at 240 Hz and seems to have been (partially?) solved with newer firmware versions.
