Can anyone confirm whether this model can play FLAC from USB as well as MP3? (Unfortunately, I can find contradictory information on this).

I have just tested this on my Dabman i560.
Result: It worked.
The device played the FLAC file both from the USB stick and streamed via UPnP from a NAS.

According to our information, the device is not compatible with FLAC files.

Unfortunately, there is nothing in the operating instructions.
But this data sheet here says again that FLAC is supported:
