As I read it in the description of the Pioneer Powered Subwoofer, it needs a line-in signal and amplifies itself. The Yamaha A-S201 has two REC sockets next to the PB on the rear of Line 2. For me, this means that the signal for the active subwoofer can be taken from here. - I do not take any responsibility for my statement.
