Can the monitor be combined with a second one? So that there are two monitors on the laptop or would there be a more efficient setup? An HP ELitebook 1030 3g is connected as the laptop and should also be charged, supplied with USB mouse, power and network.

Helpful answer
Dear Schmid01 the monitor can be used together with other monitors, regardless of whether they are connected via HDMI, VGA, DVI / DVI-I / DVI-D, DisplayPort, USB-C. Because your device has 2 Thunderbolt3 ports, i.e. 2x 40 Gigabit output, you can connect around 25 of these monitors to your notebook.

Dear Schmid01, your notebook, the HP Elitebook 1030 3g, has 2 Thunderbolt3 USB-C ports. The device can also be charged with these.

It's best to buy a Thunderbolt3 dock with charging function. I am currently using one from i-tec (art. no. 9792720). It has 4 video outputs (2x HDMI & 2x DP), as well as a Gigabit RJ45 LAN port and several USB-C and USB-A ports. It comes with a Thunderbolt3 capable cable that you connect from the dock to your laptop, just download a driver from i-tec and everything is set up!

If you decide to use a different one; pay attention to the charging capacity of the dock! This should be equal to or higher than the maximum power consumption of the connected device. Your device will also only draw as much power as it needs, so there's no need to worry that the dock will fry your device at full power. (The one with the item no. 9792720 has a charging power of 65W/h).

Hope this helps, if you have any questions ask!

Greetings

I am looking for a replacement USP-C cable for my HP Elite Dragonfly (8MK79EA) and my HP Elite E243d (BBM142). There are always interruptions or the laptop does not wake up from standby.
The original HP USB-C cable says: Full USB3.1 Gen1 5A CM-CM, COAX P/N: 914119-003.
Now I have ordered this Roline USB-C cable.
The Roline USB-C cable says: USB3.2 Gen 2x2(20Gbit/s) Type C-C, M/M, 0.5m

However, the monitor complains that the cable is not suitable and that I should order an original HP cable?

Any tips on how to get a stable docking connection (again)?
